Marking points

B1 · 1 mark · Identifies or explains one appropriate property (e.g. high thermal conductivity/ good at conducting heat/ resists corrosion/ low density).

B2 · 1 mark · Identifies or explains a second property.

Worked solution

Aluminium is a good conductor of heat, so it cooks food evenly. It is also resistant to corrosion, so it does not rust when washed.
